Design and optimization of nanooptical couplers based on photonic crystals involving dielectric rods of varying lengths

چکیده
This study presents design and optimization of compact efficient nanooptical couplers involving photonic crystals. Nanooptical that have single double input ports are designed to obtain transmission electromagnetic waves in desired directions. In addition, these cascaded by adding one after another realize systems. the all couplers, multilevel fast multipole algorithm, which is an full-wave solution method, used perform analyses simulations. A heuristic method based on genetic algorithms employed effective designs provide highest efficiency values. Two types strategies applied using nanorods with a fixed length varying lengths. way, crystals consisting irregular arrays both identical nonidentical dielectric elements for realization couplers. The their numerical results show it possible further improve simple geometries principles Using relatively material, more preferable than available literature.
